After the Mekachu and the Cyber Skull, I really wanted to take on a pumpkin for Halloween, cyberpunk style. Meet Cyberjack, a fully original piece. I don’t think anything like it has been done in the 3D printing world yet, and I’m really happy to finally share it with the community.
No supports needed. Sculpting this one took a lot of time, and I put just as much care into making sure every part prints without supports, so you get the cleanest print possible. There are two plates: one for the skull, and one for the stem, which you can print in the green (or any color) of your choice. The stem fits right on top of the skull. A small drop of glue and you’re done.
New for this model: the eyes have cavities, accessible from inside the skull, that fit LED mini balls. You’ll find them on Amazon in packs of 50, 100 or more, and they’re pretty cheap. Just look for LED MINI BALLS. No wiring, no soldering, no overheating to worry about. They’re small but they last a good while. After about a week they start to dim a little, and you can slide the little tab back in to switch them off whenever you want. Honestly, the glowing eyes are what bring this pumpkin to life. They give it real character.
If you have a large printer, you can max out the build volume. On my Bambu Lab H2D, I scaled Cyberjack to 129%. Just don’t forget to scale every part to the same size. And here’s the fun surprise: at that size, the pumpkin fits over your head. You get a one-of-a-kind mask, printed with no supports and the best finish you can get out of an FDM printer. Your friends (and your followers) won’t see that every day.
There’s a hanging slot on the back, so you can mount it on a screw or a hook if you’d rather put it on the wall.
I put as much personality as I could into this pumpkin. Mine is going right in front of my house for Halloween.
Skull size at 100%: 222 x 224 x 248 mm
Skull size at 129% (Bambu Lab H2D): approx. 286 x 289 x 320 mm
